Singer-Songwriter Meets A Suit

Here's another of those hilarious animations that illustrate an all-too-real situation in the music business, this time showing the interaction between a female singer-songwriter and a record label suit. For those of you new to the music business, you'll be shocked that everything you've heard can be true. For those of you who have been around for a while, it will be all too familiar.

Haha! :-)

I'm actually excited about the impending doom that is coming upon the record industry!

It's past time to start all over and put real musicians in charge of the shop instead of greedy business-persons who don't have any musical knowledge, whatsoever.

Time to put A&R guys (with a musical background) on the road again to listen to bar bands from coast to coast in search of hidden treasure.

Let's make the live show the centerpiece of our musical experiences and ban studio created-auto tune kings & queens.

BAN music videos. Music is to be heard NOT seen.

MTV is responsible for the corporate greed that is sending the music industry spiraling into the abyss...and now MTV is best known for the "Jersey Shore" instead of "Music Television".

MTV was never interested in music to begin with. They were interested in money. I say good riddance all of them.

Outstanding songs are out there just waiting to be heard. Let's find them!
